No matter what we do, there are only 24 hours in a day. No more. No less.
How often you heard yourself saying:
“I don’t have the luxury of time.”
“So many things to do, so little time.”
We are just so busy for so many things. We tend to rush with time, to cope with the fast paced life that the economy brings. Giving ourselves a “ME” time is a struggle at best.
We are so focused on giving to others that sometimes we fail to give to ourselves. That is the reason why we sometimes feel depressed, out of focus, tired and unhappy. Kapag kulang ka ng oras para sa sarili mo dito mo nakakalimutan yung mga bagay na importante sayo.
There are so many ways on how you can enjoy your time alone. Take a walk, belt out your favorite aegis songs perhaps, take a luxurious bath, write a journal, listen to a relaxing music, plan something fun or go to your fave restaurant, sit where you can see all the actions, from that hunky cute waiter to that chef with a smile to die for. The possibilities are endless.
It doesn’t matter how you spend your time alone, what important is you are enjoying it. Make it a ritual everyday, a 15-minute ‘me time’ will make a huge difference to your health and happiness. Don’t take my word for it. Try it!
If you think that your loved ones deserve some care and attention, so do you! It is high time that you put yourself in your priority list.
